Quite
frankly, it's disgraceful.
Returning Gulf War veterans have a
significantly higher unemployment
rate (currently 11.5%) than the
general workforce population.
Returning Veterans between the ages
of 18 -24 fare even worse with a
21.9% unemployment rate!
Consequences.
Approximately 1/3 of homeless adults
in this country are veterans,
despite representing only 11% of the
general population.
Welcome home? This is
not what our heroes, who risked all
to preserve our way of life, deserve
and it is up to all citizens to take
action to fix this now!

Other Ways to
Help
You
can have a major impact on a veteran's life.
As a Jobless Warrior volunteer, there are many ways to help our Jobless Warriors
get a leg up on their new careers.
They need everything from business attire to
haircuts to office supplies to help with
computer technology and more.
Individual Career Mentoring by experienced
volunteers is also of value to Jobless
Warriors. Volunteering to offer your products or
services to these noble heroes
who risked all to protect our way of life
may very well be one of the most satisfying
endeavors that you will be involved with in
your lifetime.
Please make a
difference in the lives of our returning
veterans and their families by volunteering
now:
